Recycled Gift-giving

Recycled gift-giving is not to be confused with “re-gifting,” which is a holiday no-no, even if we all do it. I’m referencing some of the fantastic items we have at the studio, like our origami ornaments made from recycled newspaper. We are excited about creative packaging from re-used materials. For example, you can transform an ordinary Chinese take-out box by adding some shredded newspaper and use that instead of a gift box. One of our local woodworkers makes precious birdhouse ornaments, and he gave us the idea! Our new flask planters fasten to your wall, and provide a wonderful pop of green to your interior throughout the winter. What a nice way to spread life and cheer to someone else. We also have a variety of sweet bird ornaments made of birch. Come in the studio to see our other options – carved wood owls, bark peacocks, and more… As always, we have locally handmade jewelry, furniture, and art from all around Asheville and western North Carolina. For one-of-a-kind gifts this holiday, look no further than k2 studio. We can’t wait to wish you a happy holiday in person!
